RPC-996 was published by user Applegate on June 25th, 2018, a mere twelve days after the RPC Wiki was founded. The story outlines a silent patch of land that takes away those who climb upward within.
Prominently featured is a red fire tower, which facelessly tempts its onlookers to scale the ladder and pay witness to the land's effects. The original image frames the tower from below, which I have replicated to convey its lofty mystique.
Modeled and rendered in Blender 2.82. Additions placed with GIMP 2.10.24. The Anomaly logo was designed by VolgunStrife.
